Spouse Brunch & Program: Silk Scarf Painting

10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Silk painting is fascinating and beautiful. Learn the versatility of silk dyes and techniques to create a wide range of effects. Silk painting provides endless possibilities for creating unique pieces reflecting personal style. Participants will design and complete a scarf that is approximately 15 by 60 in. Our instructor, Teri Adams-Fjellman, is a multi-discipline artist and teacher. She combines techniques in the making of jewelry, silk painting, textile sculpture, embroidery and other mixed media. Her compositions all come together in contemporary, whimsical and ornamental designs.

Network with peers and celebrate the achievements of industry leaders at the 2011 Awards of Excellence in Metalforming reception. Winners are recognized in the areas of design, process control, product development, productivity, quality, safety, and training and education.
