The workshop teaches how to prepare the content of the presentation, capture your audience, get your message across and feel comfortable while presenting. The SSCC seminar is a one-day program that teaches how to use the national skill standards by implementing effective learning strategies to certify your workers. The program focuses on "putting it all together" by explaining how to put skill standards to work through applied education, process-specific training and pay-for skill applications. The SSCC program will examine what skill standards are and are not, the differences between education and training, skill-based compensation systems, and the features and benefits of national certification. The program will introduce PMA’s Metalforming Level I Curriculum and provide important information about how to implement and administer the curriculum including practical "train-the-trainer" material. The SSCC seminar will also detail NIMS accreditation and credentialing polices and procedures. |
